Apparently, with the planes been grounded the past week, it has saved around 1.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from being pumped into the atmosphere. Does that mean I can leave my TV on stand-by again? I have no idea if this is what has grounded the planes and/or if this is from Iceland but it was pretty so I called my boss and said "Sorry did I not tell you all I was on holiday in Iceland! DAMN! Cant make it in to work tomorrow." Hats off to the icelandic people.
